spring break fun, part 2

I love the zoo. Probably more than the kids..but the three of us had a great time today. It was sunny but breezy and a bit cool; we finally shed our jackets after lunch.  A great way to continue our great spring break week. Its so hard to pick "just a few" photos... so many things to see. I think my favorite photo is of the kookaburra. It brings back memories of the song we used to sing in Girl Scouts:

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree,

Merry, merry king of the bush is he.

Laugh, kookaburra, laugh, kookaburra, 

Gay your life must be (ha ha ha ha).
